Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was reportedly in talks with Chimbudevan's men for his next movie with Illayathalapathy Vijay. It was widely reported that she had been roped in to play the female lead role. But now, it appears like she has opted out of the film and paved way for Shruti Hassan for the role.
The latest buzz says that the talks between Deepika Padukone and Chimbudevan have failed and the Bollywood actress has opted out of the project. The actress, who is making her Tamil debut in Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiiyaan, had reportedly shown interest to act alongside the Illayathalapathy. But in the end, she has dropped the project for some reasons.
The readymade reason for Deepika Padukone opting out of the Tamil film is date issues. We have to note that Chimbudevan had reportedly knocked Priyanka Chopra's doors. But she too could not take up for some reasons even though she wanted to return to Kollywood after a long time.
