Rajinikanth fights in the middle of the ocean!

Superstar Rajinikanth will be part of never-before action scenes in his forthcoming movie Kochadaiyaan. The actor will be seen fighting with dolphins in the multilingual film.

There were reports that Rajinikanth will be fighting with sharks in Kochadaiyaan. However, director Soundarya Ashwin has clarified and said that it is not sharks but dolphins with whom the superstar has fight.

It will be a lengthy action sequence in Kochadaiyaan. The superstar will also be fighting other animals in the movie.

"It will be an elaborate fight sequence involving a lot of ships and people. There will not be sharks in it, as reported widely, but a good number of dolphins will be part of it. In another fight sequence in the film, the king (Kochadaiyan) will be fighting other animals as well,"
The Times of India quoted Soundarya as saying.

Dubbing Work Ends

The dubbing works of Kochadaiyaan has finally come to an end. After taking a few months, the movie bosses have wrapped up the dubbing parts.

Rahman's Songs

Soundarya adds, "We're first finalizing the release date and then working backwards. We will soon announce the audio launch date and the songs tuned by Rahman, my pillar of support throughout this movie, will surely be lapped up by his fans,"

Deadly Combat

The movie will be high on action quotient. Kochadaiyaan also has a a deadly combat scene between Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone, which was shot in London.

Deepika Padukone

Kochadaiyaan marks the debut of Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone in Tamil film industry. Along with her, Hindi actor Jackie Shroff, who was last seen in Aaranya Kaandam, will be acting in the Tamil movie.

Fictional Account

Rajinikanth's Kochadaiyaan is a mega-budget flick, which also features Sarath Kumar, Shobana, Aadhi and others in the cast. It is a period film that is inspired by Pandya king Kochadaiyaan Ranadheeran, and is a fictional account of the ruler.
