Priya Anand is going places. The actress, who made her acting debut in Vaamanan in 2009, has worked in multiple film industries. Her first signed project was Pugaippadam but as the film got delayed, her Vaamanan saw the light of day first. But it was her debut Telugu film Leader, produced by AVM Productions that garnered her good reviews.
Though her role was limited in Leader, Priya Anand's role got noticed and eventually fetched her a lot of offers. Later, she also worked with stars like Arjun Sarja and Siddharth. The actress also went on to make her Bollywood debut last year in English Vinglish, the Hindi version of yesteryear sensation Sridevi's film Aangilam Vaangilam and worked in Rangrezz, a remake of Tamil hit film Naadodigal.
However, Priya Anand, unlike other actresses, has no issues doing intimate scenes. Talking to a leading daily, the actress has said that she was part of a few such sequences in earlier films and she is fine with it.
"I've already done intimate scenes in Nootrenbadhu and Ko Ante Koti. I've locked lips in both the films. But the scenes are always aesthetically shot," The Times of India quotes the actress as saying. Continue reading the news on the slideshow...
She adds, "Thankfully, no one's pointed a finger at me and said I look vulgar while doing the scenes," The actress continues by saying that she does not mind doing intimate scene but it should be shot in aesthetically manner.
When asked about her controversy-free career, Priya Anand said that her personality is not controversial. Neither she drinks nor smokes or party hard. She knows better ways to have fun that keep her away from controversies.
Well, when it comes to her current films, Priya Anand is busy with Dhanush produced Ethir Neechal, which also features Siva Karthikeyan and Nanditha, and Udhayanidhi Stalin's Vanakkam Chennai starring Shiva and Santhanam.
The actress is also gearing up for her next Hindi release Mrighdeep Singh Lamba's multi-starrer film Fukrey.
