Amidst rumours about Surya-Hari's movie Singam being on a back burner, a clarification has arrived straight from the horse's mouth. Well, the director himself has confirmed that the movie is not shelved and it will take off as planned before.
Director Hari says that Anushka Shetty has been zeroed in on the female lead and the hunt for the second female fiddle is on. The filmmaker is planning to rope in a popular actress to play the important character in Singam 2.
The filmmaker further adds that he has signed comedian Santhanam and he is excited to work with him for the first time. Talking about the shooting plans, Hari claims that the first schedule begins in March. Some of the portions of the film will be shot in African countries.
While Devisri Prasad scores the music, Priyan will be handling the camera in the upcoming Tamil movie.
