Actress Shakeela, who was last seen in the movie Boss Engira Bhaskaran, is now all set to make her comeback to Tamil films. The South Indian sex siren, who was earlier seen as an oomph girl, is now playing a swamini in director Aandal Ramesh's upcoming film Aasami, which is all about poli saamiyar.
Aasami revolves around a person, who cheats the public in the name of a god. Shakeela has essayed a role of a swamini, who cheats the public by claiming to have the power to look into the future and solve everyone's troubles. How goddess herself decides to teach Shakeela a lesson will form the crux of the film.
The song 'Ulagalum Omkari....' will be one of the highlights of the film Aasami. Sources claim that the makers have erected 101-feet-tall statue of Amman for a special song, which has the music of traditional instruments like pampai and udukkai. Another specialty of the song is that Sivashankar master is making a guest appearance in it.
Besides Shakeela, Santhanabarathi and Pandu are also playing some important roles in the movie Aasami. A young girl is making her debut with this movie and her role reveals the world that Shakeela is a imposter. However, the film, which is slated to release on August 3, will be a treat for this Aadi.
