The advance booking was started from July 12 and the tickets have been completely sold for the first five days. In Chennai, tickets were in high demand and 65% of the tickets were sold in no time. Sources have said that about 35 percent of the tickets have been diverted to the black market.
The heavy rush around the theaters for tickets gave an opportunity for the black marketers to earn quick bucks. As the audience were left at the mercy of the black marketeers, they were forced to pay somewhere around 500 to 650 per ticket at different theatres.
Sources further add that the advance booking at multiplexes have also got various amazing response where the tickets for the first three days have been sold out at many places in Chennai. In Bangalore, there is a huge demand for tickets and the advance bookings at multiplexes have got a good response.
