Madhavan and Trisha Krishnan are being considered for the Tamil version of the Bollywood blockbuster Tanu Weds Manu (TWM). The actor has revealed that the makers of the film have approached him to enact the same role in the TWM remake.
Speaking to a leading daily, Madhavan has said that he would feature in Tanu Weds Manu remake. Though, he is yet to sign on the dotted line, it is almost confirmed that he will star in the Tamil version of the film, says our source.
Apart from him, the movie bosses have offered Trisha Krishnan to reprise the role of Tanuja Trivedi , which was played by Kangana Ranaut in Tanu Weds Manu. Like Madhavan, the actress is yet to give the green signal for the project.
Earlier, it was reported that Karthi Sivakumar was approached to act in the film. It was also said that the actor was keen to star in the film. But now this piece of news has put an end to all the speculations related to Karthi's presence in Tanu Weds Manu remake.
Tanu Weds Manu is a romantic-comedy film, which starred Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut in the leads. It is about an NRI, who comes to India in search of a suitable life-partner, and falls in love with a girl, who is dead against an arranged marriage.
