Yuvan Shankar Raja had topped the charts in 2009 with his albums Paiya, Goa and Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai. Indeed, they marked record-breaking sales in audio markets and some of the songs are still aired in radio channels.
The music director seems to have lost his midas touch in 2010 as his albums have failed to impress the audience. He has disappointed his fans in this year as his albums are either mediocre or below average. He has composed the music for Thillalangadi, Baana Kaathadi, Kadhal Solla Vandhen, and Naan Mahaan Alla in this year and except NMA all other albums have failed to impress the audience.
Currently, the music director is busy with Boss Engira Bhaskaran, Avan Ivan and Ajith Kumar"s 50th film Mangaatha.
