Vijay and Dhanush are clashing again as their movies Kaavalan and Aadukalam are releasing during Pongal. The strange and interesting fact is that they have been clashing every two years since 2005.
Earlier, Vijay's Sivakasi and Dhanush's Athu Oru Kana Kaalam had a clash in 2005. Then in 2007, their Azhagiya Tamil Magan-Polladhavan and Villu-Padikathavan were also released at a same time in 2009.
Siddique's Kaavalan is a romantic film, which is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster Bodyguard. It also features Asin Thottumkal in the female lead and songs scored by Vidyasagar have already created a buzz in the Tamil film industry.
On the other hand, Aadukalam is a action-flick based upon a true story, which had occurred in Madurai in the 1970s. Actress Tapasee is playing the female lead role and it is directed by Vetrimaaran. GV Prakash Kumar's compositional songs for the film have become a huge hit.
