Ramalatha, wife of choreographer-turned-actor Prabhu Deva, has filed a petition in a family court in Chennai seeking to direct her husband to live with her. In her plea, she has requested the court to restore her conjugal rights.
Former actress Ramalatha approached court on Monday after Prabhu Deva announced in an interview that he is in love with Nayantara and soon they would enter wedlock. She has blamed Nayan for her marriage dispute.
Earlier, it was reported that Nayantara offered Ramlatha Rs. 3 crores for her marriage settlement. But Ramalatha has now slammed the rumours stating that it's a false report.
Prabhu-Latha married on 8 September, 1995 and they have three children and one of their son passed away due to cancer in 2008. After the death of their son, Deva left the house and has not supported them financially, claims Ramalatha.
