On Monday, ace film maker Mani Ratnam has confirmed that his forthcoming Raavan will not participate at IIFA 2010 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. At a function organized by his wife Suhasini behalf of Naam Foundation in Chennai, Mani said: "I will not be attending the IIFA 2010, as post production work on Raavan is yet to complete"

Remember, Mani Ratnam's previous film Yuva was premiered at IIFA 2004 in Singapore. But now some of the Tamil outfits declared, whether Raavan premiered at Colombo, the film will be alienating from the Tamil film industry.

He also had no comments to offer when asked whether Abhishek or Aishwarya, the lead pairs of Raavan, would go for the festival in Colombo.

We need to get rid of Khans and Kaif from Bollywood. They are slick like a butter and have no regards for Indians.

Arts and Politics shouldn't collide. But from Mani's point of view, he is right. Because, its just a business.
