Ace director Ameer officially announced his next venture after mega hit Paruthiveeran. The new film is titled as Aadhibaghavan with a tag line of Kanmoodithanamana Kathal (Not a reasonable love!). Jayam Ravi is joining hands with Ameer for the first time and is playing in the lead role.
At the press conference Ameer said that he had directed just three films (Mounam Pesiyathe, Raam, Paruthiveeran) in eight years, which were critically acclaimed and screened at festivals and won many awards. He do not want the off-beat director tag any longer. Now he wants to make 'pakka commercial film which will reach out to all sections of the audiences'.
Ameer Says, "For the first time I"m doing a film after the hero has been selected. Normally I complete the script and then only I will select the hero. This time I'm moving away from the Madurai village milieu and making an urban film with Chennai as the backdrop. The heroine selection is going on, and in a few days time it will be announced..."
As usual Yuvan Shankar Raja compose music for this film. Cameramen Gurudev-Devaraj, lyric writer Snehan will be part of the new film. The South Chennai DMK party secretary and former MLA of T Nagar J Anbazhagan is the producer of the film.
