Media One Global Entertainments have decided to launch the album of Chikku Bukku by the first week of July. The film features Aarya and Shreya Saran in lead roles with Preeta Rao, sister of Bollywood actress Amrita Rao making her debut in the film.
The film is directed by Manikandan, once an associate of the late cinematographer-filmmaker Jeeva. Previously, the film"s producers had plans about releasing the album by June but it has now been postponed to the first week of next month.
“This isn"t a triangular love story", says filmmaker Manikandan, who adds that it"s a breezy romantic entertainer with a different theme. The film starts in the backdrops of London and the journey ends in Karaikudi.
Actress Shreya Saran had earlier mentioned that her characterization is the best as the entire story revolves around her. When asked about Preeta"s characterization in this film, Shreya admits that her co-star just has a cameo.
