The Tamil Nadu Thiraipada Iyakkunargal Sangam (Tamil Film Directors Association), the apex body of Tamil film directors, has decided to support the efforts of Tamil Nadu government"s World Classical Tamil Conference to be held in June 2010.
The secretary of the organisation RK Selvamani said, "We will be staging a historical drama as a part of the conference which would showcase Tamil culture and ethos. Tamil film stars will be acting in this play. We will announce the complete plan soon..."
Similarly, the Nadigar Sangam is also planning to do something different in this conference under its head R Sarathkumar.
