Vijay, who closely follows Style Mannan Rajinikanth has decided to use Rajinikanth's trump card. In his upcoming Tamil movie Vettaikkaran, Vijay plays the role of an auto driver who seeks revenge for the injustice meted out to him.

Vettaikkaran directed by debutant Babu Sivan has actress Anushka as his heroine. The music for the film has been scored by Vijay Anthony.

Rajinikanth had performed the role of an auto driver in his Tamil movie Basha, which was one of the run away successes in his career till date. Vijay is slowly learning to judge the pulse of the masses and who other than superstar Rajinikanth can be his role model in this mission.
