Vijay clarifies his political plans

Vijay has finally announced his efforts to launch a political party, but has not disclosed the date for that.


Earlier Vijay was supposed to announce his political dreams on June 22, his birthday.

Now the actor has officially clarified a few things on his political move. He said: "Yes, I am serious about plunging into politics. My greatest strength is my fans who have always supported me through thick and thin.

I have about 37, 000 fan clubs spread across Tamil Nadu who are doing social work. I want to do more for the society and that is why I want to enter politics. Now I'm waiting for a suitable time to announce my political plans..."

Vijay has also denied his father SA Chandrasekar's drastic comments on Vijaykanth, the actor turned politician.

At present the actor is busy with his forthcoming film AVM's Vettaikkaran. His fans are expecting a 'good news' from their matinee idol on June 22nd along with the announcement of his 50th film.

The prestigious AVM banner completed its diamond jubilee on completion of 60 years and presented a Blockbuster like Shivaji recently. Now the banner is planning to produce the 172nd film with Varun Sandesh of Happy Days-fame as hero. Popular Malayalam and Tamil heroine Vimala Raman is making her debut in Telugu. Another specialty of the film is that Marthand K Shankar, son of KA Marthand and brother of Marthand K Venkatesh, is making his debut as director through the movie,.....

India Cements serves legal notice to Nayantara

India Cements, the owners of IPL's Chennai Super Kings sent legal notice to their 'sacked' Ambassador Nayantara to get back their advance amount Rs.20 lakhs. Gurunath Meyyappan (Son of AVM Balasubramanyam), one of the partners and administrator of Chennai Super Kings told that the actress intentionally avoided the match and because of her unprofessional approach and behaviour the image of the team was shattered. Gurunath said, "As said by Nayantara, we haven't signed any contract with her, but a MoU has.....
