Vijay starred movie Vettaikaran got released on Friday. The movie already got on the top news even before its releasing. A lot of promotion was gained by the picture in all ways. The hottest news was that the rights of the film was bagged by Sun Pictures at a record price. Also the movie had a song which cast Vijay and his son Sanjay.
Vettaikaran was a much expected movie by the actor himself. He had no hit movies credited to his career this year. Movies like Kuruvi, Villu all went flop. Vettaikaran review comments that this flick too didn't favour the actor.
Vettaikaran review said that the movie was a B grade flop. Different comments were laid by the viewres after watching the movie. All Vijay fans didi their best to promote their actor and his movie. In original to most of the viewers there was nothing new in the film. It resembled other Vijay movies. It was said to be a combination of Vijay movies like Bhagavathy, Pokkiri, and Thiruppachi.
But there were also quite a few who supported the movie. They were impressed by the routine Vijay action and new appearance. They did gave applause for the actress Anushka Shetty, whose glamour did gave a breath to the movie. According to one of Vijay fan, “A nice movie from Babusivan as a debutant director.He has done the role of a director with easy as each and every scene is so perfectly organized and shot. There was continuity always in the movies and the story though the same commercial one needs a gripping screenplay to keep the viewers glued to their seats. Also the songs were correctly placed. Also the dialogues were gripping with a lot of punches. The dialogues between Vijay and Saleem Ghouse provided a lot of intensity to the audience. He is surely to go places. Will not be amused if Vijay signs him again to do a movie."
According to another viewer, “Definitely it is not worth watching Vettaikaran in theatres. Soon it would be telecasted in sun tv!!!!The way Sun Tv advertises itself shows that the film is a flop. They even want to tell about this movie in Sun Tv news headlines...which proves that movie is not doing well and they want to get the investment in the first week before people are awakened...."
Anyways hope that all Vijay fans will have something to credit about later in his upcoming flick Sura
