Actor-director Thyagarajan is once again trying to stabilise his son Prashanth"s sagging career. He has taken extra efforts to work wonders with his forthcoming film Malayoor Mambattiyan, the remake of his erstwhile superhit classic.

"We have used the best technology available to shoot the action scenes and they have come out remarkably. Some of the best scenes include the one in which Prashanth is jumping from one mountain to another and running over a falling bridge. An amazing police chase has also been included. We have used a lot of special effects in the film," says Thyagarajan

Malayoor Mambattiyan has been filmed in areas where it is almost impossible to shoot like the forests of Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. According to sources, even though the film is a remake, the screenplay has been modified to satisfy the contemporary audience and is much more grand than the original.
