Navya Nair is very busy in Kannada nowadays. She has nearly started staying in Bangalore permanently.

She's got three Kannada films and some Tamil films in her kitty and is holding talks regarding a Telugu film as well. "I'm juggling between shoots for three Kannada movies, Bhagyada Balegara with Shivrajkumar, Boss with Darshan and Namma Yejamanaru with Vishnuvardhan. In Tamil, I'm currently working in Cheran's Autograph 2. As for Telugu, I might be seen in a Sunil Kumar Desai film.

Her move to other south Indian languages, however, does not mean that she has deserted the Malayalam film industry. "In the Malayalam industry, actresses are expected to provide bulk dates to filmmakers. But that's a problem for me now, as I'm working in different languages. In fact, filmmakers in other industries are fine if I give them dates according to schedules," says the actress, who is winding up her work in two Malayalam flicks.

[an error occurred while processing this directive]It may be hectic, but working in all the south Indian languages has been a long-standing dream for Navya which has now materialized. "I wanted to prove that I could work in all these four industries simultaneously and that, unlike others, I was not finding greener pastures when the offers in Malayalam dried up.".

Any idea of moving to Bollywood?
"I'm not an ambitious person," she admits. "Films just happened to me. After coming to the industry, I became dedicated. But if I have to sit at home tomorrow, I'm okay with that too."
