Though she had started her career in Tamil a couple of years ago, she was not received well by the viewers as well as the producers.
Her first film in Tamil Mudhal Kanave with Vikranth, bombed at the box office and later she focused on Malayalam and Telugu movies. So far she has completed 3 Malayalam movies and 2 Telugu movies.
Now she is trying to reinvent herself with a name change and a new strategy for survival.
Honey is now doing two Telugu films and has also signed Kantharvan a Tamil film with Kathir (hero of Niram).
Salangai Durai is directing the movie and Andamuthu is the producer.
