Engal Aasan fails to hit theaters!

Once again Vijaykanth's Engal Aasan fails to turn up as publicized in the past one week.

This film has been in the making for a long time and had planned to release a couple of seasons back, but failed due to the financial crisis of the producer.

This time though the producer had firmly declared that the film would be ready for release on Saturday July 11, the movie has failed to turn up at the theaters!

The financial problems regarding its release remains unresolved, so the producers have once again keep it inside the box.

So once again he teams up with Vikraman, the director known for his family oriented blockbusters like Pudhu Vasantham, Unnidathil Ennai Koduthen and Surya Vamsam. After completing Engal Aasan, Vijayakanth will join hands with director Vikraman again. With Meera Jasmine playing the female lead, Vikraman has chosen to title the film Mariyadhai.
