Close sources from CMO says that the Chief Minister of the state Karunanidhi has positively nodded for the proposal to rename Eldams Road in the City as Dr Kamal Hassan Road soon.
The actor is celebrating the Golden Jubilee in his career this month. Few days back film personalities including Nadigar Sangam President Sarathkumar and director Murugadass demanded the Government to rename Eldams Road as Dr Kamal Hassan Road.
After considering the request, Chief Minister M Karunanidhi provisionally accepted the same and will announce it formally at a suitable occasion to honour the actor.
