Arjun is to star in the upcoming movie Vallakottai which is to be directed by A Venkatesh. Venkatesh says, “I am currently busy with Arun Vijay starrer Maanja Velu. Vallakottai shooting is proposed to start next month. I am happy to join hands with Arjun"

About the story he said that its a story about a brave man who rebels against terrorism. A perfect blend of action and sentiments will be worked out in the film and it will carry a message too. Heroine is yet to be decided.
