Actor turned politician Vijaykanth denied all the allegations levelled by popular comedian Vadivelu in the issue of the attack.
Vijaykanth said in a press meet that the charges by Vadivelu were baseless and politically motivated.
"I know who is behind Vadivelu and forcing him to twist the whole issue against me. He is none other than M.Karunanidhi, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. After having seen my party's fast growth in the state, he is afraid and trying to create many problems forme and my party through all these silly things..." the actor charged.
But Vadivelu is firm on his stand and has again criticised Vijaykanth for all the unwanted happenings.
"I know very well that Vijaykanth is the mastermind in the whole issue. He personally ordered his men to finish me off and my family. Vijaykanth will never do good things for the people of Tamil Nadu. If he becomes the CM of the state, evengod can't save the people of Tamil Nadu.
Definitely I'm going to contest in the forthcoming elections against this third rate politician Vijaykanth and will defeat him… I'm sure that I have got more fame and fans than him..." Vadivelu claims.
