P Vasu, the director of Rajini's forthcoming movie Kuselan, says that Rajini is the one and only Superstar of the Tamil Cinema Industry. The first look of Superstar Rajinikanth's forthcoming Kuselan was unveiled by P Vasu at Chennai Royal Le Meridian yesterday.
After the formal press brief, Vasu, the director known for his remaking talents and fast work said to our correspondent, "Rajini is the one and only Superstar. Even we can't try to compare him with anyone in the Industry. He is simply like one man in the Industry. Only his name or image is enough to sell a product. But here, he is coming in nice way and his role is the real feast to all good cinema lovers."
Jointly produced by Kavithalaya and Seven Arts in Tamil, the complete shooting of the movie has been completed by Vasu within 82 days. "Since it is a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu, I need this much of time to complete the film. Except Rajini sir, Nayantara and Meena, all other artistes have changed according to the language's need. There are 33 other artistes in the film, with each version having its own artistes. Each character is played by different artistes in Tamil and Telugu," Vasu says.
According to Vasu, the dubbing for both Tamil and Telugu has been completed and now CG work is going on. "We don't need much CG works for this film. Rajini sir will do the magic on screen. But the title and few other scenes will create the CG effect!"
June 30th Audio launch!
Three out of the five songs in the film are picturised on Rajinikanth. Vasu made it clear that all the songs are fantastic and praised GV Prakash to the skies. “The audio of the film will be released on June 30. GV Prakash at the age of 22 is the wonder boy of film music. He has given wonderful music, which will be remembered for a long time," Vasu says.
As oneindia.in reported earlier, one of the highlights of the film is a song written by Vali about the 75 years of the South film industry highlighting the contribution of superstars like MGR, Sivaji, NTR, Rajkumar etc. This song starts with the line, 'Cinema, Cinema…' and is picturised on Rajinikanth and other stars in south Indian film industry celebrating 75 years of cinema.
When asked about the Superstar's screen share in this film, Vasu replied, "Rajini sir is very happy after seeing his expanded role in Kuselan. I hope the film will be a treat to his fans."
About Rajini's onscreen young looks, the director says, 'Believe me, he is looking younger than ever before in this film. Go and see him onscreen, he is still challenging all the young heroes."
Well said Vasu!
