Heroines booze up their lives

Gone are the days, when actresses symbolized the perfect 'sati-savitri' persona they enacted on screen, even in their real life. These days they have decided to break all redundant customs and if that was not enough they are even trying to outdo their counterparts, the hapless heroes in every sphere. Women activists can be proud of the brave feats that our glamour queens have achieved. Now our favourite Tamil actresses are trying to make them even more proud. Trisha and Nayantara have usurped the headlines with their notoriously famous booze episodes.

Trisha the coy actress, the epitome of timidity, is reportedly said to have let hell lose when once during actor Vikram's party she outdid all her co-stars Vijay, Vikram himself and Dharani by rocking the night with her howls and guffaws. Having gulped peg after peg she was virtually carried home by her driver and Vikram. So too it is an open secret that Nayantara, Lakshmi Rai, Urvashi and many other top-notch actresses have their own brands and specific choice when it comes to the spirit they would like to immerse themselves in. Nayantara known for her fondness for Scotch greets the night in full spirits.

They are our heroines, the obedient daughters, devoted wives, ideal mothers and the loving sisters. But how can we forget that in this Kaliyuga anything can happen. And with feminism raging high and the buzz word “Why should boys have all the fun?", truly our heroines can be spared, can't they?

First time, I have seen, the ardent fans of Vijay cursing their matinee idol for choosing a loose script and repeated dance numbers throughout the film. No doubt, the film lacks a basic story and became a big test for ones patience for almost three long.....

Trisha's threesome summer treat

Summer 2008 is very special for Trisha. Three of her big films are going to be released in Tamil and Telugu this summer. Dharani directed Kuruvi, where she acts with Vijay, is her first release this summer. It all set for worldwide release on May 1 and distributors have already purchased it at a whopping amount. Her second release is Radha Mohan directed Abhiyum Naanum will be released in mid-May. She plays the protagonist and Prakash Raj appears as her father.....

Well written article by Arya, which shows that our country is going tipsy. Unfortunately the current youngsters grow up with an aim of becoming the next Trisha. Gone are the good old days when we had Mahatma Gandhi or Sarojini Naidu to look upto.
