Tamanna, the soothing beauty of Tamil Cinema has signed a film with Dhanush for the first time in the latter's forthcoming film Padikkathavan. Produced by Vijaya Combines (Chandamama Productions), the movie will be directed by Suraj, the successful director of commercial films like Thalainagaram and Maruthamalai.
Speaking on this new project, Tamanna said, "It was really unbelievable when I heard a call from Dhanush to cast as his lady love. As per the script my role is really different and quit enjoyable."
Meanwhile Dhanush has cleared the hurdle to put his father-in-law's Blockbuster title to his new flick. He personally met the original producer and a very close friend of Rajinikanth, N Veerasamy (Easvari Productions) and requested him for the permission which was made a mandatory custom by the TFPC recently.
