Few days before oneindia.in reported about Simran's role as Surya's mother in Goutham Menon's forthcoming film Vaaranam Ayiram. Here is the follow up for the same. In this film, Simran will appear for the first time in a get up of 60 years old lady.
The flashback scene has Simran sporting the old lady look perfectly. The perfect make up gives the exact look for the actress, which will be the revelation point of the film. Surya comes in different get up in the film and Simran plays the wife of 65 year old Surya.
Though Simran doesn't play the lead role, she has been given a powerful role in the post interval session. Sameera Reddy and Divya play the female lead roles with young Surya.
According to the film's producer Oscar Ravichandiran, the film's release has been postponed to May second week due to the delay in shooting. Surya also acknowledged the same when he met the media men in the launch of his film Ayan!
