Shruti - Maddy project shelved

The most sensational news in Tamil Cinema today is about Kamal Hassan's daughter Shruti Hassan's maiden project as heroine has shelved and the same has been declared officially! Shruti, the young and gorgeous beauty, had planned to make her debut opposite Madhavan in a Tamil film soon. She had lost weight for the film and looked truly stunning in a see-thro costume at the Dasavatharam audio launch recently.

Madhavan, the hero of the movie, also confirmed the same. According to him, the film has dropped due to unavoidable circumstances. "But I'm not in the position to reveal those reasons now. It happened. Thats all..." he further said. But Maddy will do another film to the same producer and crew.

What is the real reason behind this setback? According to Tamil Cinema sources, the young actress only rejected this offer and at a stage she instructed the producer to replace Maddy with any other young heroes like Vijay, Jayam Ravi or Dhanush. The reason she told is that Maddy's films are not flicking well in B and C centers. But she wants to be paired with a young mass hero only.

Is it true Shruti...? If so it is unfortunate indeed!
