Robot shooting starts!

The shooting of Rajinikanth's magnum opus Robot has been started yesterday with a photo shoot at AVM. It was the first photo shoot for the film by famous Chennai fashion and portfolio photographer G Venket Ram exclusively focused on Superstar Rajinikanth.

Rajini came to the shooting in the early morning to the studios AC floor and later the team of Shankar joined with him. The producer of Robot, Ayngaran Karunamurthy also attended the shooting. Apart from Rajini's make-up woman Bhanu, who was reason for Rajini's young looks in Shivaji, there are two more make-up specialists going to work in this film as consultants to give young and different looks to the Superstar.

According to sources, the pictures taken yesterday will be redesigned by using graphics techniques and will be finally released on April 14th to the press. Shankar ordered some special wigs for Rajini to appear as a Robot like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator series in few scenes.

Now that Aishwarya Rai has denied the rumours of her exit from the film as rubbish, the rest of the casting of the film is going on. Three top characters from Tamil have confirmed that they are willing to shoot for the film as and when Shankar wants.

According to the latest information, Arjun, the Action King also plays a pivotal role in Robot. Meanwhile Nirav Shah has decided to quit the project, due to personal reasons. Now, noted cameraman Thiru has been roped into the project.
 

Arjun Review

Darshan starrer Arjun produced by Jayanna films and directed by Sahuraj Shinde is a hundred percent entertainer with a big quota of enjoyable songs and fights. A little bit of sentiment in the end of the film makes the film more than interesting for viewing. And Darshan steals the show with his immaculate style in fights and punch dialogues. And not to speak of the songs which will rock. Particularly the “Balle Balle" song, “Mandiya" song and the title song......

Big clash on Independence Day

Independence Day this year will see two major films battling it out in the box office. The coming weeks will tell the fate of the two movies releasing on 15th, challenging star Darshan's Arjun and Anthu Inthu Preeti Banthu featuring Aditya Babu and charming Ramya. Arjun, produced by Jayanna Films' Jayanna, Bogendra, Smt. Shashikala Narendranath and Mohankumar, is a big-budget film. It has Meera Chopra (known as Nila in Tamil) as the leading lady and veteran actor Ananth Nag plays.....
