Wedding bells for Karthika

After Gopika, it is Karthika, another Mallu beauty who enters in to wedlock soon. According to Tamil film industry sources, the Nam Naadu heroine will marry an England based NRI Malayalee after a couple of months and the formal engagement was already done at the residence of the actress last month.

Some of the Kerala magazines also carried out gossips on this recently, but so far there were no reactions from the actress's side for the same. The actress also requested her directors to complete her portions as early as possible.

The actress is now acting in only one Tamil film Raman Thedia Seethai. Her portions in another Tamil movie Pulanvisaranai-2 has already completed. She is also doing three films in Malayalam out of them two will hit the screens for Vishu. She had refused to accept any new films at present.

Director Joshy's latest venture Janmam (which went through some financial difficulties)produced by Tharangini films is complete and the producers are planning to release it in December. Ayudham, directed by Nishad, is the latest cop tale from action hero Sureshgopi, who has already become a 'police icon' for his role in khaki in an array of successful investigative thrillers in Malayalam. Ayudham has all the ingredients expected in a typical Sureshgopi thriller. It begins with a blast (literally) and predictably, ends well after critically commenting upon the various political and current events (as usual) such as the privatisation of ports, the real estate boom funded by capitalists.....

Thilakan mimics V S Achuthanandan?

There was criticism against Sureshgopi's latest cop tale Ayudham directed by Nishad, saying veteran actor Thilakan's role as a Chief Minister (Madhavan) in the film is strikingly similar to Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan in style and flavour and the actor has mimicked the Communist leader. However, Thilakan denied these allegations and said during a meet-the-press programme at the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club on Sunday that the resemblance of his character to V.S. Achuthanandan in the movie was unintentional. He said that.....

Renjit to make Tamil film

Script-writer turned director Renjit is said to be planning to make a Tamil film with Prithviraj and Karthika in the lead. He is currently directing a film titled Thirakkatha with Prithviraj in Malayalam in Kozhikode. It was Renjit who gave Prithviraj a break through his film Nandanam which became a huge hit six years ago. Renjit, known to have made super hit films in the past, is going through a dull period. The last four films that he made have failed.....
