Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja is ruling the Tamil charts with his songs in 'Katrathu Tamil' and the highlight of the album is the one sung by his father, maestro Ilayaraja. After the highly acclaimed Ram, Yuvan composed some lilting melodies for Jeeva's in this film. This album proves the talents and capability of the young music director and earns him the right to be his father's successor.
The pick of the album is 'Paravaiyai Ennai...' rendered soulfully by Ilayaraja for his son. The album has 6 songs. The rest of the songs too are very good. Though the audio release has been delayed by the audio company for some reasons, the songs prove that it is a worthy wait for music lovers! Katrathu Tamil will be hit the screens all over the world on Friday, Dec 5th.
