Be ready to watch the new Robin Hood of Kollywood! It is none other than the actor Vikram.
The versatile actor is taking up this challenging role in his next project Kandasaamy being directed by Susi Ganesan. Kalaipuli S.Thanu is producing the film, and he has already started the promotion campaign for this movie in a big way even before the launch of its shooting. The story revolves around the life and frustrations of the common man. Vikram is playing Kandasaamy, the powerful protagonist in the film, who is like a modern day Robin Hood. The director and the producer are tight-lipped about divulging any further details about the film. Shreya, the new darling of Kollywood is playing the lead lady role against Vikram.
The director has planned to shoot the film in few of the African countries like Kenya, Tansania and South Africa and he has plans to visit the African locations along with his cameraman Ekambaram from next week onwards. The producer has disclosed that a few portions of the film will be shot in some beautiful locations of Italy.
The director has said that Reghuvaran will be playing a powerful role along with one more villain from Andhra. Vairamuthu has penned all the lyrics for the film, and its music is being composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
