Amitabh Bachchan, known as the superstar in Hindi films watched superstar Rajinikanth's recently released blockbuster Shivaji at a private screening arranged by Rajini. The special screening was arranged at a theater in Andheri, Mumbai last night.
Rajini rushed to Mumbai last afternoon to host the senior superstar for the screening. The titans of the silver screen watched the movie and enjoyed the time together, remembering the days of Hum in which Rajini played the role of Amitabh's younger brother.
Recently, Amitabh hailed Rajini as the 'Emperor of the box office', in an interview to a private channel which conducted an opinion poll to know the real superstar of the country. Though the poll clearly figured out Rajini as the superstar of the Indian Cinema, he humbly said that Amitabh is an emperor whereas he is only a king.
It may be recalled that the Chief Minister Karunanidhi also said a few days ago at a function that Rajini is the only emperor of Indian Cinema!
Meanwhile, some of the Hindi film distributors have shown great interest in dubbing the blockbuster movies of Rajinikanth like Muthu and Padayappa in to Hindi after seeing the box office collection of Shivaji in Northern states.
It is said that Rajini's Bollywood friends like David Dhawan and T.Ramarao's son T.Ajay Kumar have approached the actor for their new projects in Hindi. But as usual, the actor has not given the nod to any of them.
