Vishal starrer Malaikottai, which was released last Friday, has witnessed a grand opening in all the centers all over the state. It is the very first film of the young actor who dons the role laced with comedy cum action. Written and directed by Bhoopathy Pandiyan, the film has witnessed houseful shows in all the theatres in Chennai City. The four days opening of the film established the actor as a promising star at the Box Office.
Priya Mani, Devaraj, Ashish Vidyarthi and Urvashi are also in the cast and particularly the new comedy pair Ashish Vidhyarthi-Urvasi combination worked out well in this film. Bhoopathy Pandiyan says, "Comedy is my strong area. But for the first time I'm trying an action film laced with comedy scenes and the same has been received well all over the state. Thank you for the viewers and this support boosts me to go for new experiments in commercial film."
