Katrathu Tamizh fame Anjali is playing the role of lead lady of Sundar C in Pyramid Saimira's first direct Tamil film Ayutham Seivom. Udhayan, who wielded the megaphone for Vijayakanth- starrer Perarasu, will be directing the maiden venture of Saimira. Udhayan was much-admired for his racy screenplay and quick unfolding of events in Perarasu.

Anjali, the critically acclaimed actress for her casual looks and flawless acting skill, is playing the female lead. She has almost taken a gap of 6 months after completing Katrathu Tamil for getting a good script. Napoleon and Nasser play a high-flying role. Sukanya, Manivannan, Ponnambalam and MG Kumar are also in the cast.

Talking about the film, Udhayan said, "Though the film titled as Ayutham Seivom, the movie does not have any violent scenes. Love your neighbors is the baseline of the story. A cycle of events brings a change in the hero's life and it results in a revolution in society. Vivek plays a traffic constable and his comic sequences have come really good. His ideal timing and one-liners are a delight to watch. Besides he has sung a song set to tune by Srikanth Deva and appears for it on screen..."

The shooting for the movie is on in Chennai, Madurai, Thiruparankunram and Pollachi. KS Selvaraj handles the camera, while stunts are by Thalapathy Dinesh.
