Vaagai sooda vaa movie revolves around the 1966 period romance base villagers. It shows the people who lives at that time & their feels by adding love & comedy with it. Vimal (Veluthambi) plays a teacher & Iniya (Madhi) a Tea-tender. Annamalai (bhagyaraj) is the father of veluthambi.
Annamalai dream is to see his son get a government job. Velu to go to another village and teach kids who work in a brick kiln. But there trouble comes in the form of the owner JP (ponvannan). Also, Velu falls in love with Madhi.
