Meesai Madhavan is the remake version of Malayalam movie Kabuliwallah. The movie is about the happenings that take place in a circus tent. Anandraj the circus troupe owner dotes on his only daughter Kutty Radhika. The only condition that he lays down is that she should not fall in love.
Ramana a vagabond and orphan whose best friends are Thankaraj and Illavarasu both street beggars comes across Radhika in the tent. Radhika falls for Ramana. Anandaraj opposes the love affair but relents. At this juncture a new problem arises with Ramana’s real parents coming up to claim their son.
