Oscar award winning director Danny Boyle of Slumdog Millionaire, appreciated Tamil film director Arun Vaidyanathan at Shanghai Film Festival after the screening of the latter's yet to be released Achamundu Achamundu.
Achamundu Achamundu is said to be the first commercial film in India to be shot on the Red One camera.
Starring Sneha and Prasanna in the lead, the film has been shot entirely in US and the censors have given the film an UA certificate for its theme (family/horror).
The film has already got international recognition and has won an award at a Film Festival held in the US.
In Shanghai Film festival, the viewers and other visitors praised the film after the screening. Now the real good news is that the film is all set for its theatrical release in Tamil Nadu on July 10.
The film's PRO Nikhil Murugan has also confirmed the release date through an official press release.
