The autopsy of singer Whitney Houston's body has been done in Los Angeles on Sunday, 12th February, but the LA County Coroner's Office have placed the official results of her autopsy on hold due to pending toxicology tests. At a press conference, Deputy Coroner Ed Winter said that the tests could take six to eight weeks to process.

Talking to the media, Ed Winter said that the Beverly Hills Police Department had requested a 'security hold' on the results of the coroner's investigation, which means no further details will be made available until the inquiry is complete. Meanwhile, he also confirmed that “no foul play is suspected."

However, Whitney Houston was found dead Saturday afternoon in a bathtub in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel just hours before a huge Grammy party she was to attend. Prescription drugs had been found in the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel room. Her family members said Houston had been taking the prescription drug Xanax, which is often used to treat anxiety.
