Madonna desperate to work with AR Rahman

Singer Madonna is considered as one of the most celebrated stars of the world. The Material Girl star desperately wants to work with Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman. The musician, who had visited Jodhpur and Udaipur in India with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie and her children in 2007, also loves to perform in India.

In an interview with New York Daily News, Madonna said, "I would like to work with him when the opportunity comes and things work out. Only then we will be able to decide on the music." Meanwhile, she also expressed her wish to perform in India. She added, "I haven't got the chance, but I would surely love to."

However, AR Rahman came to know about Madonna's wish from the article published on popular gossip blogger Perez Hilton's website. Along with posting the link, the musician welcomed her for a collaboration. On his Twitter page, he tweeted, “Anytime… You are welcome, Madonna ji…”
