Rihanna, the pop star has again grabbed headlines with her amazing shoot up to the top of the charts in the UK Albums with her fifth studio LP Loud.
Rihanna the star who is well known as one of the most fashionable divas to have come into the world of glitz and glamour has yet again proved that her"s is a voice that cannot be forgotten that easy. Her tremendous love for her art has certainly shown her the path to great heights in gaining the number one spot this year.
The pop star managed to grab the position from the all boy band 'Take' that despite the five piece band having occupied the top spot for the last six weeks. It had also become the highest selling albums in 2010. However, this drop to the second spot has not deterred the boy band from shifting an astounding 53,000 copies of their million selling record.
The first five spots were:
1) Rihanna with 'Loud',
2) Take That with their 'Progress,
3)Plan B with 'The Defamation of Strickland Banks.
4) Tinie Tempah with 'Disc-Overy'
5)(22) The Wanted with 'the Wanted".
