“I did it at home in my spare room, just as I always have. Ninety per cent of the recording for me was done in [my home county] Leicester [England]," guitarist Serge Pizzorno told NME magazine on being asked about the upcoming album. The band finished the recording in San Francisco after Pizzorno finished laying the basic tracks.
“We were in a basement in San Francisco pulling it all together - we don't go for big studios, just basements and bedrooms for that homemade feel. So it was smelly, hair all over the place, getting involved, no time for f***ing about," the guitarist added. The “LSF" hitmakers feel that their upcoming album will become a 'classic' in spite of the 'cramped up' recording.
