Justin Bieber's Twitter followers cross 11 million

Teen sensation Justin Bieber is closing in on Lady Gaga, who has 11.5 million followers on Twitter. Justin"s followers on the micro-blogging site too has crossed 11 million. And the “Baby" singer took to his page to thank his fans.

“WHAAAATTTT?!??! 11MillionBeliebers! I LOVE YOU ALL!! THANK YOU ... tonight was already a fun great night and now it is even better. THANK U THANK U THANK U (sic)" he tweeted.

Interestingly, the 17-year-old Canadian singer has more followers on twitter than the population of his hometown Stratford Ontario. “it's crazy that @justinbieber has more followers than he had people in his home town, 11millionbeliebers DREAMBIG <3 32 (sic)" wrote haileynovak3.

Justin"s fans too tweeted on the occasion of crossing 11 million Twitter followers. “@justinbieber 11MILLIONBELIEBERS! uve come such a long way! feels like yesterday that u were singing in ur room! dreamsdocometrue (sic)" wrote kidrauhlweloveu. “@justinbieber our family is getting BIGGER 11millionBeliebers so proud to be part of it, I'll always support you ;) Congrats Justin (sic)" added applesun.

It may be recalled that Lady Gaga has the most followers on Twitter with over 11.5 million followers and Justin is closing in on her.
