The Black Eyed Peas are spreading their wings in their endeavour to help the youths realise their dreams. The band has opened a special school in New York to provide a platform for teenagers to learn video and music production using professional-quality equipment.
The band's charitable Peapod Foundation has joined hands with the Adobe Foundation, run by Adobe Systems Inc, in this venture. The school, which is opening in July, will allow young talented people to use professional equipments to produce music and videos.
“Our passion for music and media was fuelled by many generous people on our road to success. Expanding the network of Peapod Adobe Youth Voices academies enables us to pay it forward, giving more youth the skills and encouragement they need to realise their dreams," Contactmusic quoted Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am as saying.
The Black Eyed Peas has three Youth Voices academies in California.
