'X Factor' chiefs agreed to pay damages for a smashed door, signs and pictures. The mayhem took place at the Premier Inn in Wembley after contestants that were a part of the final 100 gulped downed rose wine, vodka, whisky and cider.
"They were like wild animals. The police arrived in full riot gear because things were so extreme. It's hard to believe these people are serious about becoming the next Leona Lewis or Alexandra Burke," News Of The World quoted a source at the London hotel as saying.
An American guest said. "They kept the entire hotel awake and scared us. Some of them were dancing around naked in the car park. If they are the stars of tomorrow then I am disgusted." The producers of the show informed judges about the mayhem and decided whether the most violent ones should stay. "Simon Cowell is not happy," a source said.
An X-Factor spokesman said: "Contestants had an opportunity to relax after a week of intense rehearsal and performance. We've spoken to the individuals concerned, who have apologized.
