New York (ANI): The Parents Television Council has put down a racy picture of 'Glee" stars, which had appeared in GQ magazine, as being a 'near-pornographic display'. According to, the provocative GQ photo shoot featuring stars Lea Michele, Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith, was immediately criticised upon its release.

The cover of GQ"s November issue, shot by famed celebrity photographer Terry Richardson, features scantily-clad Michele and Agron hugging Monteith next to the cover line 'Glee Gone Wild'! Inside images include Michele posing in white panties and a bra while Argon appears in a mock-cheerleading set-up with her skirt barely covering her lady parts.

“It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualising the actresses who play high school-aged characters on 'Glee" in this way," the New York Daily News quoted the statement as reading.

“It borders on paedophilia. By authorizing this kind of near-pornographic display, the creators of the program have established their intentions on the show"s direction. And it isn"t good for families," it added.
