Cheryl Cole to perform solo at V Festival

London, (ANI): Girls Aloud member Cheryl Cole has announced that she will be performing at the V Festival this summer. It will be 26-year-old Cheryl"s first solo performance at a festival, following appearances at the Brit Awards and on The X Factor, reports the Telegraph.

Kasabian and Kings of Leon will headline the music event, which takes place at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the weekend of August 21-22. Performers at the 15th anniversary festival will also include Florence And The Machine, Stereophonics, Faithless, The Prodigy, The Kooks, Paul Weller and Paolo Nutini.

La Roux, Ellie Goulding, Pet Shop Boys, Madness, Editors, Mika, Groove Armada, The Charlatans, Goldfrapp, Kate Nash, Paloma Faith, Plan B, Sugababes and Pixie Lott are among the others on the bill. Tickets for the event will go on sale March 5.
