Washington (ANI): American singer Whitney Houston has revealed that her marriage to ex-husband R 'n" B singer Bobby Brown ended after a birthday party she threw for him. In an exclusive TV interview with Oprah Winfrey, Houston, 46, recalled the fight with Brown, in which he spat at her and she hit him with a telephone.
“He cursed me all the way home in front of his parents and he spit on me... I was horrified. He spit on me, in my face... I was angry, very hurt," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
“I called a friend, I said, 'Come and get me now..." I was almost two feet out the door... and he pushed me against the wall... and I took the phone and I hit him over the head with it and he fell out on the floor (sic). My daughter came down the stairs... (and cried) 'Daddy! Mom, what did (you do)." I said, 'I told him not to do it..." It was just one of those moments. It was just hateful, ugly," she added.
