Susan Boyle's security breached on Christmas

[an error occurred while processing this directive]Washington, (ANI): The security set up at Britain"s Got Talent runner-up Susan Boyle"s home in Scotland has proven to be ineffective after two intruders were spotted in her garden over Christmas. Boyle, 48, spotted the two strangers creeping outside her back window late at night, but they fled when she pulled back the curtains. The incident left her elder brother Gerry worried and he is urging the singer to consider moving into a more secure area.

“I hate to think what might have happened if they had broken into the house when she was on her own. They could have had knives on them or anything," Contactmusic quoted him as saying. “Susan rang me to tell me she"d had intruders like it was an everyday occurrence. “She hadn"t mentioned the incident to anyone or even reported it to the police. When she casually dropped it into the conversation I was really shocked. This can"t go on any longer.

“She now has to realise that living in this small house is no longer suitable and more importantly not safe for her," he said. Boyle is said to have installed a panic alarm that connects to the local police, and they can now be at her West Lothian home in minutes if she presses the alarm. The singer, who is expected to make 5million pounds from sales of her debut album, is now looking for a new 1million pounds home.
